International Education Institute
International Education Institute takes great care in our youngest participants.
We assist in school placement, host family selection and placement, and continued support services.
Through IEI, we require Culture Mentorship, which is modeled after the “Big Brother” or “Big Sister” approach for all middle school students. Participants will meet with their Culture Mentor for 2hrs every-other-week to learn more about aspects of American culture. This will provide an opportunity for them to build relationship with a young adult, have some introductory experiences into American culture, and provide IEI a chance to keep tabs on their language proficiency and if any emotional or educational items of concern that may be developing.
